Born and raised in Wilmington, N.C. singer-songwriter Jeremy Mathews has been performing since an early age. Influenced in his youth by his parents’ records such as American Graffiti, Grease, John Denver, The Beach Boys, and the Beatles his musical influences have continued to grow. When he was a teenager he played guitar and bass in many area bands. As a music teacher he is influenced by music from nearly every genre. Now he teaches by day and plays at night. Jeremy performs originals and a wide range of covers from artists like the Beatles, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Johnny Cash, John Denver, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Tyler Childers, Zac Bryan and Jason Isbell. He plays acoustic guitar with experience, sings with soul and often performs with a harmonica. Song lists are available upon request. He is available for breweries, clubs, cafes, restaurants and private functions.
