(Listen free on Spotify) - Crowdreview: "WOW, the voice is excellent. High and low moments of the song are done really well. I was loving every second listening. Also
great composition, and implementing of the massive hall echo, brilliant. I liked the lyrics too. This song even can be a great soundtrack for some film.
- This vocalist doesn't need much to really put on a show. her voice doesn't need a whole band to back her up, a simple instrument is enough to match her sound. very heart-warming and genuine
Review on Misty : The singer sounds absolutely amazing! Almost sounds like Jewel! I almost mistaked this for her! Thats how good it sounds! But it could use a little work. But in a final view it sounds AMAZING! Great work!
2./ The song starts off with a quiet saxophone and piano melody which is interesting. The female vocals sound very sensual and high pitched. I like how old school and elegant the song sounds. The saxophone gives the song a 20's era vibe. I like how you sing with attitude and that your voice claims the spotlight. The song is memorable and pleasant.
3./The melody is slow-building but starts out rather tuneful. Very simple but accomplished in what it does. warm and expressive, this vocalist doesn't need much to really put on a show. her voice doesn't need a whole band to back her up, a simple instrument is enough to match her sound. very heart-warming and genuine, this vocalist really knows how to bring out the best of her voice. smooth and memorable. her style is warm and inviting it really draws you in. clear and full of conviction.
4./A deep woody bassoon solar, and splashes of percussive color. This composition would make a good concert opener. Once the vocals came in, they made it much better. Lyrics were imaginative and never offensive. This music is very funky and wild. What an artsy sound! Shows a level of musical understanding in all kinds of genres. Varies in runs, metaphors, and effects within the instruments. Overall a fun, artsy sound. I love it. The melody is one to remember.
5./Calming and classy. Lounge music for sure. The story behind this song is beautiful, truly take the time to listen to the lyrics. Well written. The instruments are so relaxing, and play really well together. Not overpowering the vocalist, in any way. The vocalist has a raw, rich voice. Not many voices like hers now a days. Very powerful voice which portrays quite the message. Strong woman, beautiful song. Brilliance.
I am quite a new singer still taking solo classes - Jumped out of the shower march 2014 - had never sung for others before this - fell in love with Jazzy Songs October 2014 and started singing Ella Fitzgerald and Michael Bublé songs. First time ever as a choir singer was january 2015 and it was a Gospel Choir. So love to sing Jazz and Gospel songs :) - A coincidence/i.e. being invited to two Musician Friends rehearsing, and one of them telling me I had a good voice compatible to his piano started me on this road :) - until 2018 every song was recorded in our living room
