Welcome to my page, thank you for stopping by… I am a lyricist from North West England, now living in the South West. After a lengthy hiatus, I am back writing new lyrics, so look out for new songs to be added to this platform in the coming weeks.
Previously I have reached the finals of the UK Songwriting Contest in 2012 and again in 2015. I have co written songs with Val Fay from Florida, In 2012 our song "Calling Out For More" reached the semi finals of the UK Songwriting Contest in the Christian/ Faith category. Also "Take Me Tonight" co written with Val was placed within the top 5 songs of the American Song Of The Year contest 2012 in the Dance Category. I have collaborated with other talented songwriters... Barrie Davies from Wales and Doug Adair from Canada. I believe the essence of good lyric writing is having the ability to create imagery, through carefully chosen words which tell a story. I write across different genres; from pop, to musical theatre, adult contemporary to country, country being a genre favourite, and also gospel...
