“Having followed his own dreams, James Cademan has been heard in over 150 countries now through his Jango radio station, and is developing a much larger following by reaching through the number of online resources at the contemporary musicians´ disposal. Yet he still loves playing to Sarasota in places like the Starkeeper Cafe, where he recently debuted his new show complete with lights and a finely honed loop pedal which allows him to incorporate piano, guitar, and percussion into many of his songs, making the technical prowess a show in and of itself.”
“Original musicians in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties produced a veritable deluge of amazing CDs and EPs during 2011. Just to give an idea of how much indie talent resides here, following is a month-by-month roundup of (most of) our uber-productive artists and their accompanying releases...May: To Sleep, To Dream (“Yellow Ladder,” EP); Preston Beebe (“Glisten”); Barry Johnson (“Tenacious Grace,” EP); and James Cademan (“Unplugged and Away,” EP).”
“On the up-and-coming one-year anniversary of the release of his single, “You're Beautiful Today (Erin's Song)," Sarasota Singer/Songwriter, James Cademan has announced that he will be donating all proceeds made from the download sales of the song to a children’s charity.”

“I was first introduced to Cademan when he showed up to one of the Press Kit Parties I held at the HuB Incubator a few months back. I remember the crowd cheering in approval after he got on the mic to reveal that he had recently quit his day job to focus on a music career. Since that performance, Cademan has continued to build a presence in the local music scene, opening for local rockers Pariah for the third time at Flying Dog Café this past Tuesday. That show also marked another musical accomplishment for Cademan — the official CD release of his debut EP “Unplugged and Away,” which he had been striving to complete for over a year.”
