lzanah Jones is a World Reggae recording artist who builds the rhythms of her own songs that she writes, arranges, sings, and produces.
During the interim between the premiere of her debut album Reggae for Love in 2008 and now, Izanah has prepared a slew of albums to inspire and uplift. First in line being “A Reggae Heart”, released by Raw Beat Records, 2022. The lyrical content, well-produced instrumentals and mix of this new album reflect a great effort on behalf of the artist and her production team.
Mixed by reggae veteran Karl Pitterson, Izanah’s new groove album is a nice and easy companion for a long Sunday cruise. It assuredly has its place in the world of reggae music.
Inspired by Bob Marley and other reggae legends, lzanah is a treasure, a precious jewel in the crown of reggae music. Her music lives and breathes like a cool, island breeze - each song a captivating blend of lyrical and musical expression.
Track 10 “Live In Truth” - stands out as it suggests a solution for the times we are living in.
Track 3 “Shine Your Light” - has a Ska beat, and is sure to get you moving
Track 1 “Train Track” - is a good choice for bands to play
