On August 30, 2014, Roxbury, NJ will host the first annual Foodstock music festival to benefit less fortunate families in the northern NJ area. The combined forces of Sound of Humanity, Roxbury Recreation, Roxbury Arts Alliance, and Community Foodbank of NJ are bringing 8 musical acts, starting at 11:00am at the outdoor Horseshoe Lake sound stage for the entertainment of your entire family. Admission to the event will be 64 ounces of canned goods per person. Food vendors will be there to allow you to enjoy the event without having to leave, so bring your lawn chairs, picnic blanket, and come enjoy a day of great entertainment. Event will be held at Horseshoe Lake Park, 72 Eyeland Ave., in Roxbury, NJ. We are excited to have a great roster of bands playing at the event! Times are approximate, of course.
