Ian Charles Bouras is a live looping ambient soundscape artist from New York City.
Ian was diagnosed with Ataxia, a rare neurological disorder that affects coordination. Since being diagnosed, Ian has devised a new way of playing using a looping pedal, and has become a unique player with his own style, and it has been said by critics that “his playing is magical.”
He performs at The Abilities Expo every year, for The National Ataxia Foundation, and speaks publicly about Ataxia, including a recent talk, and performance, at Brown University.
With over 20 releases to his name, it has been said that Ian "could easily heralded as the quintessential ambient composer but there is so much more to his music."
Ian continues to write, record, and perform live.
