Hudson and Guam / Press

"Thanks to collection members and partners, Hudson & Guam, the William & Mary Hip Hop Collection now has a fund to collect dollars specifically earmarked for the collection. What this means is that anyone interested in the collection, Virginia, and/or hip-hop can help directly support the collection through a monetary donation. The collection is now on its way to being able to support itself. All of this is due to the support, the generosity and vision of Hudson & Guam."

“Williamsburg hip hop duo Hudson and Guam, aka Chad Hudson and Chris Santos, recently donated $2,500 to create the W&M Hip Hop Collection Fund, which will support Swem Library's hip collection collection housed in its Special Collections Research Center. The duo presented the donation to Dean of University Libraries Carrie Cooper; Kevin Kosonavich, the collection's curator; and Director of Special Collections Jay Gaidmore.”

"Chad Hudson and Chris Santos, of Hudson and Guam, are hosts of Mic Hog, a hip-hip competition held at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va. Santos, a former Guam resident, hopes to take the competition on the road and to cultivate artists abroad, including on Guam."
