London Groove Metal machine Hellbent & Hammered will be hitting South Africa for five shows in March 2015, supported for the whole tour by JUGGERNAUGHT with special guests in each city. Hellbent & Hammered: Metal Hammer Magazine: “Head-banging Perfection…and well worth the wait!! ..8/10“ Established in 2004, Hellbent & Hammered has developed a reputation as one of the London’s premier groove-based metal bands, with a sound that can only be described as the illegitimate love-child of Pantera and Lamb of God. The band's bluesy influence however - would suggest that Clutch was sometimes allowed to participate – making a power metal 3-way that leaves audiences wondering who, or what has just assaulted their ears. In its rollercoaster 10 year history, Hellbent & Hammered have persevered through walk-outs; line-up changes – and several unreleased EP’s – finally re-inventing itself with 2014 EP “Death Rattle”, the second EP recorded with guitarist – Junior, who joined in 2011 after founding member Julien sought fairer climates somewhere in the south pacific. Known for their face-fracturing live performances – Hellbent & Hammered have over the years played some of the UK's top venues, alongside bands including: Feed The Rhino, Godsmack and infamous Canadian metallers ANVIL. The band has also played alongside many of the top up-and-coming metal acts in the UK, such as: Godsized, Thunderhorse (Raging Speedhorn & Viking Skull), Head-On (Diesel King), Sons of Merrick and StoneGhost (Snakebite). The band’s newly released 4 track EP “Death Rattle” is now available on i-Tunes; Amazon; Spotify and via all major online distribution platforms. Metal Hammer Magazine: “Head-banging Perfection…and well worth the wait!! ..8/10“ PowerPlay Magazine: “Death Rattle’ has a Lamb of God meets Down flavour to it. The album is heavily inspired by the likes of Clutch, Pantera and Down, yet clearly can stand on its own. If you like your groove metal, then ‘Death Rattle’ is well worth a listen.. 7/10” The Moshville Times: “Seriously, this is good stuff. Each track is head-banging, circle-pitting heaven. If you’re into the likes of Lamb of God, Pantera and their ilk then you will not be disappointed with Hellbent & Hammered.” Link: http://www.moshville.co.uk/album-review/2014/11/review-hellbent-hammered-death-rattle/ Metal Temple: “With the release of the EP “Death Rattle”, London-based HELLBENT & HAMMERED deliver a slab of lead that is certain to please the PANTERA-starved, HELLYEAH-loving, groove metal fan looking for a fix. HELLBENT & HAMMERED is a band that has definitely peaked my interest to the highest of levels, and in my opinion, should be a household name. A Masterpiece.” Link: http://www.metal-temple.com/site/catalogues/entry/reviews/cd_3/h_2/hellbent-hammered.htm Manchester Rocks "The beer guzzling gents from Hellbent & Hammered know how to fuel an already aggressive fire, packing a bluesy punch so deep it'll have you headbanging in no time..." http://manchesterrocks.m.webs.com/site/webs_92428620/home?url=http%3A%2F%2Fmanchesterrocks.webs.com%2Fapps%2Fblog%2Fshow%2F42802531-hellbent-hammered-death-rattle-review#3222 Spotify http://open.spotify.com/artist/0oGg5paTEn0eYXjEm7wj1A Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Ddigital-music&field-keywords=Hellbent+%26+hammered iTunes https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/death-rattle-ep/id915178593
