Local live music venue The Zoo has really been throwing its support behind the local music scene of late, and Saturday July 28th will be no exception. The night will see some of Brisbane’s strongest bands come together to put on a night of predominantly post and prog rock sounds. Hazards of Swimming Naked will headline the night. They’ve been a bit quiet lately but that is certainly not the case behind the scenes. These guys have been rehearsing solidly and are super keen to gig again. FEED have been putting in the hard work for several years now and punters at their shows are reaping the benefits. Fresh from a recent EP release that attracted big crowds and raving reviews, no other band is as deserving of a Saturday night slot at the Zoo. Echotide are taking a break from recording duties on their upcoming album to give what will certainly be a captivating performance of instrumental post rock. Kicking off the night will be one of the newest bands on the scene, Perilium. With a handful of quality shows and a recent album release under their belts, these four young lads are showing some serious potential.
