WhatYouWill is a outdoor festival dedicated to the art of improvisation, and will occur this year on the weekend of June 15th-17th, 2012.The festival offers the chance for improvising musicians and listeners to share in the inspiration and relaxation of a serene rural environment.
Wild Goose Creative (on Summit St. just 2 blocks south of Hudson) Improv/out music mini-fest: We're doing this as a kind of mid-point mini festival in advance of the next WhatYouWill improvised music festival. Improvised music mini-festival carrying the flame of WhatYouWill, an annual summer festival devoted to improvisation, begun in summer of '11. Hasan Abdur-Razzaq and Ryan Jewell out of Columbus, Ohio. Saxophonist / Hasan Abdur-Razzaq, is a prolific musician and painter who is a descendant of the Cleveland free jazz scene that brought in the Ayler brothers and Abdul Wadud.
