J.M.Sutherland is a lifelong Musician. He is Multi instrumental and produces finished works in his studio.....MOSTLY ALONE and is the EPITOME of A ONE MAN SOLO ARTIST but also occasionally in creates in collaboration with other artists and also does session work. In and Out of Bands since 8th grade, the natural progression was toward Producing and Recording. Currently working on an several albums worth of favorite cover tunes and always working on current Original Inspirations. Capable of multi genre musical compositions, he has a wide array of influences with original works covering the sounds of Classic and Progressive Rock to Alternative and Metal. He welcomes comments and welcomes all inquires. recent works recorded on Presonus Studio ONE and a fader port 8 , Behringer and Presonus Audio Interfaces, using Yamaha, Schecter, BC rich, Alvarez, BOSS, Roland, Focusrite and Other brands of gear. WAY to many and to much to list . I am a gear head ALL my instruments are modified or rebuilt. Im not big on making Videos as it just takes so much time away from actual music production but a YOUTUBE artist channel is being worked on with upcoming Video releases , tutorials and general noodling in my studio .... Everyone's process is different and my process is my process. Questions as to how i create my works are welcome , My Covers are created with reverence for the original and seek to pay respect to them by not rewriting them but simply letting my style and techniques bleed into them, allowing my musicianship and production abilities influence the finished recording. Covers are not charged for or profited on on this platform but i do have Mechanical licenses for some songs that are in stores on other streaming platforms.
