Singer-songwriter Gray Click brings a catchy, feel-good sound to the music scene. Click’s songwriting is rooted in an acoustic foundation, while giving a nod to the classic songwriters of pop and rock ‘n roll.
For the past few years, Brian McKenzie, a long-time friend and producer, has been backing Click with lead acoustic guitar/mandolin/12-string electric in a live setting, while also recording and joint producing the music in the studio.
The project has been privileged to collaborate with gifted players that contribute live, and in the studio - Tommy Tipton, Drew Jacobs, Ryan Carter, A.j. Rownd, Pamela Cannon Cook, and David Wright.
In May 2014, "Things Turn Black" aired on the CNN program, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown (Season 3, Episode 6, 'Mississippi Delta'). The song played during the epilogue and through the closing credits.
