Ger Carriere is a Cree high-energy pop-rock artist from Cumberland House Cree Nation, Treaty 5 territory, based in Edmonton, Alberta. Blending pop, rock, R&B and soul with powerhouse vocals and unapologetic storytelling, Ger creates music rooted in identity, resilience, sensuality and becoming who you were always meant to be.
Her breakout single “Can I Be Her” spent 7 consecutive weeks at #1 on Saskatchewan radio, earned a place in the MBC Radio Real People Playoff Hall of Fame, reached #1 on the SiriusXM Indigenous Music Countdown, and earned Ger a SOCAN recognition plaque during JUNO Week 2026. “Are You My Type” followed with six weeks at #1, while “Honeybees” climbed to #5 on the Indigenous Music Countdown.
Ger’s growing catalogue includes the Be Hotter project and singles such as “Touch Me,” “When We Were on Mars,” and her newest anthem, “Legendary.”
Onstage, Ger brings big vocals, big hair and undeniable energy. Her mission extends beyond her own success: she is building a career centred on Indigenous visibility, creating opportunities for emerging artists, and showing the next generation that they, too, can be legendary.
