About the Artist

Gary Essex on Guitar, Other Stuff and Vocals. Berklee College of Music composition major. Grew up in New Jersey where he played with a bunch of great local Jersey bands and was a house band in Asbury Park, NJ, one of the Boss’s main towns to hang out! Gary has played with The Ventures and he has also opened for Kansas, Denny Laine (Wings & The Moody Blues), The Hollies & Badfinger! Gary also fills in from time to time in Buffalo, NY’s own Tommy and The Two Tones and was part of The Bob Farmer Band. Gary is a founding member of the band the gutter prophets starting back in 2009 and The Torpedoes.
