From his early days, having shared the stage with Dave Loggins, Fleetwood Mac and Bonnie Raitt among others, Gary has now concentrated on more diversification of his songwriting style and spending more time in the studio. From one song to the next you can appreciate the palette of musical colors through his words and melodies. His song subjects can be fun and care-free or spot-on critical. They can vary by locale: from laid-back Carribean islands to the rocky shores of New England, from the sunshine-soaking of Florida to the breathtaking beauty of the San Juan Islands of Washington state.
An engaging singer/songwriter who blends picture-perfect lyrics with memorable and fluid melodies, Gary’s songs can take you on a mental vacation or pull at your heartstrings. Either way, you will leave with something humming in your head.
Preferring smaller, intimate, "listening rooms" when performing acoustically, you can usually find him as a frequent performer at Songwriter in the Round concerts, listening room venues and private house concerts.
His latest EP, Elevation, releasing in 2023, marks his 10th release in as many years having just been recorded in St. Petersburg, Florida.
