Fur Lined Volcanoes formed in 2001 shortly after Peter Spivak moved to Winston-Salem, NC. It originated as an acoustic trio and evolved into a seven piece rock band. There have been many different members, and each CD we recorded was with a different lineup. Peter Spivak is the singer-songwriter, and plays rhythm guitar. Other members have included Mike Chamis, Nancy Scott, Matt Scheidt, Bill Scheidt, Ken Simonds, Shannon Kerr, Whit Pitcher, Lee Terry, Matt Kosma, Neal Goode and many other guest musicians along the way.
