Funky Geezer or better known as Woody Williams
celebrates his 50th anniversary playing music.
Found missing in a rest home. He was dusted off and asked to do an inspirational tour.
He's back lifting the hearts of this generation of fans & musicians.
“At No Go Commando Fest, I had the utmost pleasure of seeing The Funky Geezer for the first time ever. I enjoy the fact that he does take time to continue to be a musical force that is, in my personal opinion, better than some bands in the area and at his age it is amazing. His blend of comedy and musicianship is outstanding and a joy to watch, not just for the entertainment, but if you’re a musician like I am, you’re envious of how much knowledge he has. Some have even said that they wish that he was their grandfather and I can see why. I could not have imagined how good his set up was. I watched a short online documentary and online videos but they do not do him justice; so if you get a chance, see him live. He is usually booked all the time and having a blast. I think it’s easy to say we love the ‘rest home escapee’ that is off his rocker.”
