I'm a songwriter based in Fort Mill, South Carolina who is getting back into the music business and songwriting after a long hiatus. Born in Brooklyn NY, raised on Long Island NY, moved to the Eastside of Manhattan, I started to play guitar and write songs in my teens. Growing up I was inspired by listening to such artists as the Eagles, Allman Brothers, Steely Dan, Michael Buble', Peter Frampton, Candy Dulfer, Earth, Wind & Fire, James Taylor ..Mercy me, Casting Crowns, Michael English along with most of the classic R& B / rock groups and more recently it's been pretty much ... Bach to Rock.!! In the late '80s I had some success, getting placements with a few label artists. I enjoy writing across genres (as you can see). At the time I was writing more R&B / Club music and was voted top amateur songwriter in New York City by ASCAP! I collaborated with a several great writers over the years. 'Cry Baby' for Polydor artist Nikki, as well as four singles for singer Donna Marie and had placements with other artists who were signed to Covert Records .. Covert Records was a label owned by Billy Joel's sax player, Richie Cannata." Stopped writing for 20 yrs. to start a new career and raise a family.
