For The Broken (FTB) was a purpose-driven hard rock band based in Kansas City. Delivering a straight forward, “punch-you-in-the-face” sound that features blazing dual guitars, heart-pounding rhythm, and powerful vocals, FTB appealed to multiple generations that love bands such as Judas Priest and Godsmack.
Drawing inspiration from the joys, as well as the trials and tribulations of life, the lyrical styling will challenge, motivate, and encourage the listener as they travel their own journey through life. “We believe we can touch a lot of people through our music and by sharing what we have learned along the way.”
When FTB formed in 2010, they quickly gained a reputation as a must-see live band. Their high-energy, musicianship, and mature stage presence created a loyal following. They opened for multiple national touring bands, including Stryper, Thousand Foot Krutch, LA Guns, Tremonti, Chevelle, Drowning Pool, Saving Abel, Red, Gemini Syndrome, Scott Stapp, Otherwise, Rev Theory and Hellyeah. Their following grew from a local one to a national one as they have played festivals such as Rocklahoma and Throttlefest. FTB was voted Rock Band of the Year by Project Backstage Midwest Music Awards in 2013 and 2014.
FTB’s self-titled debut CD, recorded at Chapman Studios in Kansas City with renowned engineer Robert Rebeck ,was released June, 2011. Their second album, From Sinners To Sinners, was released in July 2014.
FTB featured multiple lineups through the years and each member contributed positively and will forever be part of the band’s legacy.
The band last performed live in 2017. While there were discussions of writing new music for a third release, the band ultimately decided to dissolve. In 2019, consideration was given to a reunification of the five original members, but it wasn’t meant to be.

Currently, original FTB members Joe Pluff, Aubrey Jones and Sean Devins, have joined forces with accomplished musicians, singer Ted Forshey and bassist Shawn Aucoin, to form the band “Until We Break”.
