folkTrain was formed in 2010 by Matt Dawson and Chris Stack.
The band plays a mix of original and traditional songs and covers. folkTrain has performed at festivals, clubs and pubs throughout Australia, including Maldon Folk Festival, Tamar Valley Folk Festival, Uranquinty Folk Festival, Kilmore Celtic Festival and The Victorian Folk Music Club. The current band line up is:
