About the Artist

Native from Argentina, Flavio's begun his journey as a guitarist when he acquired his first acoustic guitar, a gift from his father at the age of nine years old. He learned by ear, playing folkloric music. Some time later, influenced by hard rock and his favorite band at the time, Gun's N Roses, he bought an electric guitar and begun experimenting with rock and metal. In high school, Flavio's founded the band “Monflage” (Rock, Flamenco) with two of his best friends and played live on stage for the first time. Other bands he joined back in his country were “Doctor Verija” (Funk), “Nosivo” (Death Metal) and “La Oveja Negra” (Punk). In 2001 pursuing the dream of buying an electric guitar that was hard to find in his hometown, Flavio's moved to Miami, Florida. It was then, when he met his all time idol and major influence, Steve Vai who also autographed the guitar of his dreams. In 2003, Flavio's joined some of his closest friends in South Florida and the band “2+2=7” was born. In 2008 Flavio’s moved for several months to Indiana were he joined the band “Take the Sky” on guitars. Back in Florida in 2009 Flavio's joined the local band “Centro Polo”. Later, a friend invited him to play for a fund-rising event in West Palm Beach, Fl. and “Trebol” was born (Latin Rock). Flavio’s (vocals and guitar), Diego (piano), Alex (drums) and Nestor Delgado in (bass) played together until the band dissolved when Nestor moved to Argentina. Then, Flavio’s joined the local band Indium. In January 2011, Flavio’s moved to New York for a few years and he recorded his first single and official video “Bedtime song for Ethan”, an instrumental song dedicated to his son, Ethan. Back in South Florida, Flavio's rejoined the members of Indium and founded “Red Seven Depot” a classic rock, funk and pop rock band. For more info and shows for this band visit them on Reverbnation. Along his musical career, Flavio’s won two battle of the bands, one in Miami, Florida in 2009 as soloist, the other one, a Festival presented by Heineken in New York were 10 band competed for a month in 2011 in two different local bars. Flavio's was also a featured artist for Mitchell Guitars in 2011. Flavio's has shared stage with renowned Latin American bands like Autenticos Decadentes, Karamelo Santo, Babasonicos, Gondwana among others. Also, he has played with world renowned musician, Victor Espinola (Yanni's Orchestra) Flavio's has been interviewed by the T.V. Channel Much Music Argentina, the hispanic T.V. Show Despierta America (Univision), Mega T.V. Florida and other local media.
