The next installment of the History of Blues to Rock series will be on Saturday April 18th at Union Arts Center, where Finn and the Sharks will continue its exploration into the roots of the music they love to play. Combining the influences that shaped American Rock'n'Roll from Delta Blues to Chicago Blues, from early Sun Records R'n'B recording artists to the Million Dollar Quartet (Elvis, Carl, Jerry Lee and Cash), from the Everly Brothers and Buddy Holly's Crickets to the Beatles, from 40's boogie woogie to the Rolling Stones and beyond. The band mixes little known facts, myths and legends re their heroes tracing the connections between various genres and styles. Before the night is over Finn and the Sharks explode with their own original hybrid of all of the above. Union Arts provides a perfect venue in which to do this. Comfortably sit, listen and watch or get up and dance; whatever your pleasure may be. Do not miss this Spring Fever Rockabilly Dance Party with Finn and the Sharks!!
