Exit Eleven is an all-original alt rock band that's proud of the New Jersey music scene they came up in. You won't find these guys pretending they're out of NYC or Philly, and that's why they chose to name the band after the intersection of Jersey's most famous roads (the NJ Turnpike and Garden State Parkway).
Exit Eleven is influenced by various 90's and 00's bands such as Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, Smashing Pumpkins, the Pixies, Sunny Day Real Estate, U2, R.E.M. and Chamberlain, and have continued to be inspired by bands like Coldplay, Rogue Wave, Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, The Killers and Frightened Rabbit over the years.
The band's sound is driven by a one acoustic, one electric guitar sound (Far From Low, Reflection), but there are the occasional all-electric rockers (Open, We Need to Know) and poppy anthems (Fairweather Friends, Sail Away, Reminders) built in to keep the pace up and the crowd engaged.
When you see Exit Eleven live, their songs sound just like they do on record--the band is not willing (nor able) to hide behind slick production. The band is what they appear to be--an honest, accessible rock outfit--and they will not try to be anything other than that. They play music for the love of playing music. With new songs, recording dates and shows coming up early next year, Exit Eleven is excited to bring its music to a larger audience than ever in 2026. Please give us a quick listen and don't hesitate to get in touch if you like what you hear! Thanks for taking the time to check us out!
