About the Artist

“This rockin' kids band delivers a mix of funk, rock, blues in quirky songs about the trials of growing up.” ~ Time Out New York Kids. Erin Lee Kelly is an award-winning songwriter whose family music has received rave reviews (“Irresistible!” ~ Disney’s Family Fun Magazine) and radio play from Massachusetts to New Mexico. Her original tunes from her first two CD’s have earned her national attention as one of the freshest, funniest, and insightful performers for kids. The Up Past Bedtime Band are a group of terrifically talented New York City musicians who can usually be found up well past bedtime playing everything from country music to punk in many of NYC’s top venues. Together they create a fabulously interactive (and seasonally appropriate!) family concert featuring funky drumming and silly songs about assorted childhood challenges –from accidentally losing your lunchbox to accidentally getting locked in the bathroom. Whether you’re a little one ready to shake your sillies out or a grownup who can’t resist a good groove, this band will have you hopping way past—at the very least—naptime!
“I love your catchy songs!” ~ Eve Tannery, 69 News, WFMZ TV
