Born in Annapolis Md., it was at an early age that Elizabeth came to grasp the knowledge that her ‘voice’ would be the passion in her life. She set out to see just how far she could go.
It wasn’t until after divorce that Elizabeth realized that a ‘normal’ job would have to be her main stay until her music career could take off. Seeing an ad on Craigslist looking for studio singers, Elizabeth answered the ad and got the job working in a studio in Baltimore.
Her love of the blues ignited a fire that made writing become an everyday pleasure, a pleasure she continues to this day. Her first song: ‘Blues Singing Woman’. adds to her present day catalogue containing at least 30 original writings.
Influenced by Clapton and Bonnie Raitt, her music is raspy, soulful, direct and filled with a feeling, that makes you believe she has experienced every word written or sung by her.
ELIZABETH JANE HANSEN is on the roster at: EP Records, USA.
