I've been playing music around eastern North Carolina for more than thirty years. During that time I've performed as a solo artist, fronted bands, shared stages with talented musicians, and had the opportunity to open for and perform alongside nationally recognized artists, including Edwin McCain and Lisa Loeb.
What I've learned over the years is that great music doesn't belong in a box. The world likes labels, categories, and expectations, but the songs that stay with us rarely fit neatly into any of them. That's why my performances draw from a wide range of influences, from classic rock and singer-songwriters to pop, soul, and the occasional surprise.
Whether I'm playing a crowded venue, a small listening room, a wedding, a brewery, or a neighborhood gathering, my goal is always the same: create an experience where people can relax, sing along, laugh a little, and forget about the outside world for a while.
I believe music works best when it brings people together. It doesn't matter where you come from, what you do for a living, or what kind of week you've had. For a few hours, we're all part of the same story.
Thirty years later, I'm still doing what I've always loved: playing songs that mean something, telling stories, and sharing good music with good people.
