Bio: Dylan Doyle is creating a stir in the Hudson Valley music community. Born in the south to Yankee parents, he has been steeped in everything from Robert Johnson, Townes Van Zandt, and Lightin Hopkins to Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Hendrix. DYLAN DOYLE BAND has a show on 08/02/2015 at 03:30 PM @ New Diggings General ... in Benton, WI http://www.reverbnation.com/q/6196hq #concert

“If you sit back, close your eyes and listen closely as Dylan Doyle plays guitar, you would swear you were in the presence of a seasoned bluesman--one with a long history of playing juke joints and assorted dives where dues are paid--and not to a 14 year-old who just entered Wallkill High School. Doyle's future as a musician looks promising, but make no mistake about it; this young man's musical vocabulary already has a breadth that is as wide as wide as the Mississippi Delta and is solidly anchored in the rich heritage of the blues. For some, the elements needed to become an exceptional musiciancome early in life- great hand/eye/brain coordination as well as an acute understanding of phrasing, melody, pitch and rhythm. Doyle has all of these in a combination that is astonishing to see in such a young man.”

Q: You're noted as a "customer" of a Barrett guitar with your picture of one of their Teles, yet in none of your videos do I see you playing it? How often (if at all), do you gig with it?

A: Sorry I took so long to respond. since I have my website I seldom go on reverbnation. I am a fender player at heart. The Barrett is a good guitar but I am a big fender Custom Shop fan and a 1956 Stratocaster relic is my main guitar. I do enjoy playing the Barrett when I am in mood to play a tele. thanks.
