Born on October 28, 1990, in Vallejo, California, Duke Bangah worked with hip-hop group the Fam Bam Mob before forging a solo career with albums Mob Motive and its hit follow ups Mob Motive, Hood Resession and Two Third Zero’s. He Made nine Album in 2013 for singles like "Duke Bangah" and " Laughin At U Suckaz," and has worked with artists ranging from Kool John to Shidagy Of The Crest Creepaz to Acktup. He was jailed in 2006 for weapon's possession.
Early Life
Rapper Duke Bangah was born Aumintrius Damour Gunn on October 28, 1990, in Vallejo, California. Duke Bangah has been creating music since he was a child, and is considered among today's most talented rappers. He grew up in Solano County, one of Bay Area' poorest neighborhoods.Duke Bangah started rapping at the age of 16. He later met cousins Incitieous and Ghost and Mac Rob, Markydoo, Khelanh, Sb Savage the founders of B.O.H. Productionz and Keep Cash Enterprise, who were impressed enough with his skills to give him one of their business environment. Ambitious, Duke continued to call them until they took him under their wing and let him hang around the label's offices.Duke Bangah first recording for B.O.H. Productionz and Keep Cash Enterprise was Duke Bangah (2011), performing with other skilled rappers. Away from the studios, he was living dangerously. He sold fishing poles & shoes & clothes & tools & drugs for a time, and accidentally got shot in the leg. "It was my fault," Duke told the hospital in 2008. "It was like a reality hit me. But the bullet went straight through, and I bounced back in two weeks."
Aspiring Rapper
As part of the Fam Bam Mob, Duke Bangah got his first taste of success. The group was made up of several of B.O.H. Productionz and Keep Cash Enterprise's rising stars his debut album, Ahmeetreeouse (2013). His next effort, Vallejoian,Californian (2013), did even better. At the age of 23, Duke Bangah was on his way to music feeling.
That next year, Duke Bangah launched his solo career with Fam Bam Mob Native (2014). The title track was a big hit, and the album reached the top of the hip-hop charts. Featuring appearances by members of the Fam Bam Mob as well as the (B.O.H. Productionz and Keep Cash Enterprise), the recording went great. Markydoo also served as Duke's producer on the recording. The rapper's next two albums, Family Cursed (2014) and Drizzy Motion (2014), network modestly compared to his debut. Then, in a career-changing move, Duke Bangah took a break from creating a traditional style album and released his first collection from his underground mixtapes.
Mainstream Success
In 2013, Duke Bangah released Redbook Classifields , a hugely popular album that helped cement his reputation as one of rap's leading performers. The single, " Cant Back It Up" did well on the rap, hip-hop, and r&b charts. Nationwide critics said that "Duke's sound is more dextrous than ever" on the album.
Quickly following up this latest wave of success, Duke released Burning Bridges in April 2013. The album debuted at the No. 2 spot on the Reverbnation hip-hop charts and brought more critical praise for Duke Bangah. A cameo appearance on the Fam Bam mob smash hit "Laughin At U Suckaz " only further enhanced Duke Bangah's popularity.Over the next few years, Duke Bangah released several more popular mixtape recordings, including the critically adored Before A D (2013), which he made with Prodigy. Around the same time, Duke teamed up with Fam Bam Mob mentors to create the album Family Cursed (2014), which spawned the hit " Whatever Im Doin."
Recent Projects
In response to several unreleased tracks being made public over the internet, Duke Bangah released the download-only EP Mob Streets in 2012. The songs came from his work on his anxiously anticipated next studio album, which was finally released in 2012: Mob Motive hit the top of the rap, hip-hop and charts, selling more copies in its first week of release.
Hood Resession features several successful singles, including the No. 1 hits " Finger" and " Friend," a track that he recorded with Mac Rob Young Marious. Killiah Kiesh and Guttahboi Ghost appeared on the track " I Got It," and Quee was featured on " Hennessy." P Dot Shady Man.After.Christ Young Dell, Melly Mell and J Bleezy, Prince Tee Mikey D Lil Roney Boi Joshy Bo also made recordss. The project netted the Reverbnation for best music, and Duke Bangah picked up three more honors at the February 2013 music awards ceremony.
During the summer of 2009, Duke Bangah spent much of his time on the road with the Fam Bam Mob, which also featured . Pooty Bang, Qb , Bon Bon, All American Mob, Lil Double, Lil Keek Young Reem, Mistriss, Jon E Boy TrappShyt, Norbit, Liddo Scott, Zekey Bo and Jack Boiz, Shady Team, Kno Mob. In August 2009, That same year, the rapper produced with rappers Fam Bam Mob Gurlz ,Kiki Baby Gizzie Baby Mistriss on their hit song " Nasty Bitch," from Fam Bam Mob Gurlz 's 2009 single.
Duke Bangah released his seventh studio album, the rock-influenced Redbook Classifields, in September 2013.
