About the Artist

Dominic “FBG D-PEE” Pruitt was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. His story is built on struggle, survival, loss, loyalty, fatherhood, and determination—and those experiences became the foundation of his music. Growing up wasn't easy for FBG D-PEE. With his mother battling drug addiction and no consistent father figure in his life, he spent portions of his childhood going in and out of foster homes. During those difficult years, his two sisters played a major role in raising him and helping him navigate life. Searching for family, acceptance, and guidance, FBG D-PEE eventually found himself connected to the streets and the Brotherhood Bloods, where he found a sense of loyalty, love, and belonging. Through everything he experienced, music became his therapy. FBG D-PEE turned to rap as a way to express the pain, pressure, losses, lessons, and realities of his life. Instead of creating an image for music, he began making music from the life he had actually experienced. FBG D-PEE is the father of five children. One of the most heartbreaking moments of his life came when he lost his one-year-old son. That loss forever changed his outlook on life and gave him even more determination to pursue his music and create something meaningful from his experiences. Throughout his music journey, FBG D-PEE has performed on shows alongside some of hip-hop's biggest names, including Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Rocko, V.I.C., Mike Jones, David Banner, YoungBloodZ, Three 6 Mafia, La Chat, Gangsta Boo, and others. Every chapter has added another layer to his story—from foster homes and the streets of Birmingham to fatherhood, loss, growth, and maturity. Today, FBG D-PEE represents more than a stage name. His music represents the different sides of a man who has experienced both struggle and growth while continuing to push forward.
