Throughout his professional career, he has continued to write melodies, play his guitar and sing the emotion filled songs that have come out of the diary of his life. His commitment to “the story” hidden within his music continues to come through to his listeners.
Douglas began playing the guitar and writing songs at the age of 18. After playing the guitar for only 4 days, he wrote his first song, "Just For Two". Music became a way of expressing his deepest thoughts and feelings as he blended emotion-filled lyrics with a mastery of finger style guitar picking.
