DeJoe currently lives in Gig Harbor, Washington after being a Nashville resident and songwriter since 1991. He wrote for various publishing companies as a staff writer and was a writer/vocalist for the Nashville-based band, The Bloomlaters. He wrote Country Artists, Joe Nichols', first single, "Six of One, Half Dozen of The Other."
