Doug Burns is foremost a singer/songwriter, but is also an Americana and Country music standout performer as well. His songs are melodic stories from his life and experiences and range from up-tempo sing-alongs to dark and moody thought thought-provoking earworms. Musical influences include Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Sturgill Simpson, Ramones, Social Distortion, and Woody Guthrie, to name just a few, but Doug prefers to avoid labeling his music and would rather let the listener decide what it means to them.
Doug has opened for the likes of John Anderson, Wynonna Judd, Night Ranger, and has played multiple festivals and large events. With a new record released in 2024 things look very exciting for the “one man show”.
