Doctor Robert, The Beatles Tr... has a show on 08/17/2014 at 06:00 PM @ Leg... in Gunnison, CO http://www.reverbnation.com/q/4z8ow1 #concert

"On a frigid, damp Solstice Sunday evening in Gunnison, Father's Day, The Beatles came back to life. At least they did for a strong majority of the adult crowd gathered in Legion Park for another installment of the Gunnison Arts Centers' Sundays@6 concert series. It was like a Fab Four reunion, courtesy of the talented Crested Butte based "tribute" band Doctor Robert. And the crowd was eating it up, singing and swaying like it was 1964. The only thing missing was Ed Sullivan, screaming teens and Go-go boots. "Getting away from "it all" to come together. Thats what events like the San Juan Solstice and the Tour Divide are about. That's part of what great music, like that of The Beatles, is about. And thanks Doctor Robert to opening my eyes and ears to some greatness that I almost missed."

Q: I just saw the group in the Springs, great time! Terrific musicianship, maybe a little more work on harmonies. Your "extended parts" were great. Where & when future gigs?

A: Hello, and thank you for your question and feedback. Those harmonies are doozies for sure, The Beatles did some amazing writing for their vocals. Here is when and where The Doctor will be performing in September: **Thursday, September 13 from 8:00 – 11:30, Telluride Conference Center, $10 at the door. The night before Blues and Brews starts, should be a great party up at Mountain Village. **Friday, September 14 from 8:00 – ?, Depot Saloon in Lake City This may be the most enthusiastic dancing crowd we’ve seen, it’s the night the Lake City Wine Festival starts. **Saturday, September 15 from 7:30 – ?, Wildwood Sounds in Del Norte, $15 Sometimes the small towns have the most receptive audiences and fun, intimate venues like Wildwood. **Friday, September 28 from 3:30 – 6:30, 21st Annual Octoberfest in Gunnison The Gunnison Bank hosts the 21st year of Octoberfest, sounds like up to 1000 people turn out every year for this great community event!
