DJ XTC aka DJXTCNet — Canada’s Original Vibe Curator Over 40 years of experience | Greater Toronto Area, Canada Neal “XTC” McFarlane is a Toronto-area open-format DJ, live mix curator, educator, mentor, and radio personality known across Canada as “The Old School Guru.” From vinyl beginnings to digital mastery, DJ XTC has spent decades shaping dancefloors, radio airwaves, clubs, live streams, and music culture throughout the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. Raised in Scarborough and built through Brampton’s legendary party scene, his reputation was forged through versatility, crowd connection, and deep musical knowledge. DJ XTC also owned Brampton’s iconic all-ages venue Club 404, hosting artists including Maestro Fresh-Wes, Michie Mee, and Redhead Kingpin while continuing to help shape Toronto-area music culture through events, mentorship, and community building.
