Discharge A British hardcore punk band formed in 1977 by Terry "Tezz" Roberts and Roy "Rainy" Wainwright. They are often considered among one of the very first bands to play hardcore punk. The band's music is characterized by a heavy, distorted, and grinding guitar-driven sound and rawly shouted vocals, with lyrics on anarchist and pacifist themes. The band's first album in 1982, Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing, went to number two on the UK Indie charts and number 40 in the UK Album Chart. In the early 1980s, the group had a number of singles and EPs place in the top 10 of the UK indie charts, including the 1981 EP Why(#1) and the 1982 single State Violence State Control. Discharge's music influenced hardcore punk, thrash metal, crust punk, grindcore and various extreme metal subgenres. The most well-known thrash metal bands covering Discharge songs include Metallica, Anthrax, and Sepultura. https://www.facebook.com/Dischargeofficial http://thenightmarecontinues.yolasite.com/ https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=discharge With support from: Police Bastard Punk/Crust/Metal band influenced by many different bands ranging from the likes of Discharge / Chaos UK to Amebix, Rudimentary Peni, Celtic Frost, Black Sabbath, The Cardiacs, Killing Joke. This makes up a dark, aggressive hardcore sound without losing power or focus. Risen from the ashes of Britian’s largest hardcore thrash bands: Doom, Sore Throat, Filthkick, English Dogs, Sensa Yuma and Contempt, Police Bastard was born in May of 1994. In the first year and a half alone they stacked up a staggering number of gigs and a large following. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Police-Bastard/44809514403 https://www.reverbnation.com/policebastard http://ironmanrecords.net/bands/police-bastard Smack Battalion Doom/Sludge/Punk/Crust/Hardcore band from London. https://www.facebook.com/smackbattalion http://smackbattalion1.bandcamp.com/ Copper Garden Melodic Hardcore Metal band from Reading. https://www.facebook.com/Coppergarden http://www.coppergarden.co.uk/ Worthy Victims Hardcore Punk band from Brighton/London. https://www.facebook.com/WorthyVictims http://worthyvictims.bandcamp.com/ And an after show performance from: The Blue Carpet Band Blues/Garage Punk'n'Roll band from north London. https://www.facebook.com/bluecarpetband https://soundcloud.com/the-blue-carpet-band
