Dewey Via

Dewey Via is a man of many gifts, one of which is being able to take any song of any genre and deliver it to his audience straight from his soul. And with his impeccable musicianship, emotion-drenched vocals and cheerful stage presence, he makes it all look effortless, performing acoustic solo around St Augustine Florida. Dewey Via formed the group Lick N Gravey some years back and now operates his recording endeavors under the "Lick N Gravey" trademark. He is currently also performing on electric guitar with the "HoocH" band in St Augustine Fl, with Michael "Bo" Griner, Jody Stratton, Charlie Ray Gun, and Jon McGee. Dewey comes from an extensive background in music with a family heritage that carries on to this very day, performing as a child, winning the 1976 Va State Gospel VFMA Award, and on through the years, taking a break from public performance to raise a family, and to lead worship at Rock Church of Patersburg Va. Eventually the call to perform again became strong, and Dewey again embarked on a musical career including writing, producing, engineering and performing new music, and standard favorites from "Hank to Hendrix", and ROCKING THE HOUSE wherever He goes!!!!!
