Guitarist Charlie Christian is widely recognized as one of the great talents of the Swing era as well as one of the giants of early Bebop. A member of Benny Goodman's sextet from 1939 to 1941, Christian also played and recorded with Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. In this special performance, guitarist Devan Jones and the Uptown Stomp will revisit and recreate some of Christian's most enduring work.
