Rhubee Neale Anmatyerr/Arrernte
Australian Aboriginal singer-songwriter was born in Mparntwe (Alice Springs), Northern Territory Central Australia, now living in Adelaide on Kauna Land.
Rhubee's music style is country, grassroots, and folk. She continues in the tradition of storytelling through her music and visual art, she delivers beautiful descriptive and pictorial lyrics and stories on topics of love, heartbreak, life in the Red Centre, domestic violence and other topics that are dear to her heart. Rhubee's voice is innocent and pure. Through the use of phrases and words directly related to the dialect from the red centre, her Aboriginal heritage shines through. Her cheeky performance has a lightness to it, however, this lady with the Big smile brings depth to her performance, singing from life's experiences with warmth and energy. Rhubee Neale has performed around the country, she loves community events but also doesn't shy away from the big stage, she has performed in various festivals including the Dreaming Festival in Woodford, Queensland and Alice Springs Desert Festival, Northern Territory.
Rhubee's greatest influence is her Sister Letty Scott, mentor role model, Mother, and Friend. She always encouraged Rhubee to sing, paint and write songs. Rhubee is continuing to move forward ,her songs and music have a healing effect on her whilst she continues to be a positive role model to many of her Brothers and Sisters of mankind.
