NEED LYRICS?
Greetings, my name is John Heavern, I am a lyricist currently living in Charlotte, N.C.(would prefer to be back in Arizona!) . I have 200 complete music demos on Youtube. Link is available here. There are over 70 song demos on my "Lyrical Spheres" playlist. Rock, Psychedelic, Alternative, Country, Folk, and more. MY influences: Roger Waters, Neil Peart, Jim Morrison, Freddie Mercury, Dylan, Simon, Zappa, Petty, and so on... mostly Rockers.
Have been working with Maarten Gelderman, a talented composer on Kompoz site and we have put out 8 albums on Soundcloud (with the help of other talented musicians).

Mostly, I write lyrics into original compositions. In that capacity, I think the most important step to the process, is to "feel" the mood of a tune and write to that mood. I estimate that I now have over 600 complete song lyrics(and growing) of various subject matter written. Most do not have music or are projects collecting dust on Kompoz. A lot of it's pretty deep stuff, some humor and love as well. I feel my lyrics lend themselves to various genres of music. Something to say is never an issue! Lyrical inspiration and writing to instrumental pieces comes very easy to me. I especially enjoy writing to rock tracks. Rock was the catalyst that brought all this to fruition(obviously).
I was a "closet writer" for years and have only been writing to music tracks since October of 2018. I create videos for songs to not only promote the songs but also my lyrical aptitude and the talented musicians/singers who bring them to life. I'm very grateful to all of them for the opportunity to explore this creative outlet which has brought me here and allowed me to pursue what is now the love of my life! :-)))
