My first published original song, written, arranged, mixed, co-produced, & sung by Debi Lynn Phillips - "A Bold Sounding Horn" (2019) - was composed by Keith Adkins, Multi-Instrumentalist (utilizing the original chords & melody written by Debi Lynn Phillips in 1981, as well.) I write the words, hear the melodies, and play the songs on guitar, with two basic chords, and recruit talented artist friends to co-write with me to complete the release of my songs. It is exciting to finally publish my own works! I wrote my first song at age 21 and I have been writing poetry & singing for live audiences since I was 12 years old. I have spent several years working with talented musicians nation-wide, in-studio, to publish my favorite cover songs & originals. And, I have learned the art of singing & excelling in a studio environment, where time is of the essence!
