About the Artist

DEATHZONE12, the videopage for HGR RECORDS, is the brainchild of American artist Scott Wilcox (aka DJ Scott of DIGITAL DARK AGE another RN page!). Hear him weekends at CPUGOD.SYNCHRO.NET, RSR Trip Radio, WEEKENDS MIDNIGHT TIL DAWN Pacific time. From 1988--2008, Scott worked on 2 secret film projects--earning 3 degrees as he melded Metal with fantastic adventure. A one-person production, BARDS OF FANTASIA, was released as an animated short in 2008, and the screenplay was finished in 2012. He also formed HGR (Heavy Guitar Rock) RECORDS in 2008, releasing 2 free comp-cd's in Utah, while filming a concert film/video collection. The concert-video-DVD is planned as part 1 of a 6-part cable series: "THE WESTERN USA ROCK SCENE 2014." Most of episode 1 is called "DECADE ESCAPADES." The plot: In 1985, two students are trapped in a videogame by the hero's jealous ex--and her video minions! An homage to 20th c. film-history, the couple are immersed in a 1940's Army hangar, 1920's gangster-casino, 1960's freakout-seance, 1970's car-race, 1930's train-robbery, and 1990's cyber-ninja-zombie graveyard.
