“Death Match Union’s “Virus” is an interesting album to say the least, the way their sound works is to me anyways, is a smooth, quieted, down guitar, and drums. This allows the vocals to pop a little more, the guitars are not in any way less heavy, so you have been warned. The music on this album flows, and rocks. I liked the vocal work on “I am I”. The album was like it had a different variable to every song that stuck out, in “Come Die With Me”; I thought this was one of the best tracks on the album, the vocals and the way they were done made the song just work. “Superficial Death Cult” was an interesting addition in its odd beat and jam like pace. This band is very unique and I was very impressed with the bands offering of “Virus” It will be interesting to see what they come up with in later albums. The way this album worked was an awesome mix of sound and Metal, I am very impressed with this offering from the Canadian North!”
