David Winans II from the Grammy Award winning family ,"The Winans", Bebe & Cece, Mom & Pops, Daniel Winans, and Winans Phase 2. David who played on a lot of the family's projects.was a guitarist/vocalist, in his own right heading a progressive rock band in the '80's called Xairia , in Los Angeles.After a family worldwide tour met guitarist Greg Nelson and drummer Darrin Wardlaw, and formed, "pi" later changed the name to David Winans' pi. This line-up now, in the process of completing the new 'Psalms' cd. and preparing to go live in 2018, consists of Marq Speck: keyboards - Vern Springer: guitars - Mike Brooks: guitars - Steve Badalament: drums - David Staub: guitars and bass.
