“Response to “LQM Music Review – “Hell To Live” – David Van Kleeck” “Hell To Live” has a great Blues and Rock edge with great vocals that leave you reeling on the lyrics, like you’ve lived this song at one time or another. Nice driving rhythm with just enough of a rocking feel that leaves room for clear, concise and hard hitting lyrics. Have to give it the best rating as I found myself rocking my head and turning up the volume. The lead guitar was all over in just the Right places in the break. I enjoyed it, the lyrics left me with so many feelings which is rare for me to get that kind of mixed emotions. LOVED IT!!”

““Event Horizon” is a new CD that will be released on Oct. 30th 2013. Singles are being released early, & Pre-Orders for the CD are available at DISCOUNT! Comprised of four extremely talented and experienced musicians, the CD has something to offer a variety of musical tastes. The primary musicians on the CD project are: Davey Pattison, Vocals, Darryl St. John, Guitars, Pete Thompson, Drums/Keys, and Dave Van Kleeck, Guitar/Bass/Keys. Derek Sutton, music industry veteran, was the single most influential person behind bringing these artists together. It all started with a bad day at a computer store in California that caused Derek to resort to the Internet for help. Had that day in November 1997 not happened as it did, it is almost certain Derek Sutton would never have met David Van Kleeck. David became Derek’s Computer Guy and took over administrating the Robin Trower Online Store. Then things got interesting. GO TO LINK FOR FULL REVIEW”

“Song: Hell To Live David Van Kleeck’s single, “Hell To Live” features Vocals by Davey Pattison, [of Gamma, Robin Trowr] and Drums by Pete Thompson [Silverhead, Robin Trower]. David Van Kleeck plays the Solo and Rhythm Guitars and the Bass, Mixed at Jasongs Studios. Written and first published in 1979. This is a Power Blues song, with a Classic Rock feel. With an intro, reminiscent of Boston’s “Long Time”, this song comes charging out of the gates and keeps the listener engaged throughout. Pattison’s vocals are rich and full, always strong and well fit for this track. The lyrics tell the story of two different people, and how they’re paying the price of making poor choices. “Hell To Live” will be available on Van Kleeck’s upcoming album, Event Horizon. The release date has not yet been announced, but if the rest of the album is anything like this track, it will be a must-have addition in the music playlists of fans of Power Blues and Classic Rock. “Len Amsterdam Radio re: CrossTown Band's Debut CD Release 'POINT OF VIEW' "An exciting ride throughout, very very catchy material, sure to be a big hit. One of the best new acts we have heard in a long time. Ya had us hooked from the start to finish! A total powerhouse, a killer rhythm section, engaging intellectual offerings. This band is the total package! You really have something happening here! Your sound is as big as the Grand Canyon, a complete breath of fresh air." Come on over to the great white north. Canada.....eh! Len Amsterdam Radio .. all indie all the time! Len Amsterdam”

“If I could find good inspirational stuff like this every day, I could put a CD on the station deck and go down to the pub for an hour and nobody would complain about missing my dumb quips between tracks. Good lyrics, good message and more important from my point of view, real fine listening.”

Graham Henderson - 103.9 ROAR Radio Review, Esperance, West Australia

“Great demos! My musicians would be so lucky to have this quality of "living room demo" to work with...but...BUT - ya'll make sure you mix those vocals on top 'cause the poetry is massive and weighty! Dig the inclusion of album title in the lyrics for Point Of View. Musical arrangement is on the money for concept...song is certain for a hit! Praying a "Dove" comes your way from this CD! You guys beat most (current) Top 40 rock bands.... Congrats on the new album!”
