Welcome to my ReverbNation site.
Thank you for dropping by.
In mid-July, 2014, I completed the recording, mixing and mastering of my first CD with producer/musician John Sieger (of the band Semi-Twang). The title of the CD is "Sensible Man". The record was released mid-September of the same year.
In August of 2016, I am excited to say I completed my second CD with John Sieger, titled "A Shotgun A Shovel And An Alibi".
There are 12 songs on the latest record, it is available here to purchase as an album or individual track(s).
Piet Levy of The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel said this of "Sensible Man":
“Standridge learned well from his former teacher and producer, Semi-Twang’s John Sieger. His lyrics can be quietly heartbreaking or simultaneously funny and sad, but they’re always consistently sharp.”
Then in December of 2016, Piet had this to say about "A Shotgun A Shovel And An Alibi":
"Standridge slips into some darker subject matter on his sophomore album. Standridge is equipped with wit and smirk, whether he's channeling Johnny Cash on the sin-relishing country throwback 'Can't Get The Devil Out Of Me' or singing about an alcoholic doomed for self-destruction on the ironically perky 'Little Miss Adventure' ."
I have also put up some original Christmas tunes you are welcome to download for FREE. My present to you for stopping by.
I invite you to check out all of my songs.
And please contact me if you have feedback you'd like to share.
Thanks for dropping by and happy listening!
