“Dave Edwards—a talented musician, singer and songwriter who doesn’t fall in line with hip, cookie cutter young rockers such labels would sign but still has a lot to tell the world about life. As remarkable as Edwards’ personal story of fulfilling a lifelong dream is, it wouldn’t be as powerful without the strong and poignant, inspirational songwriting and sizzling electric guitar work that drives his driven debut One Place To Turn. Delaying his musical dreams till now allowed him to experience a lot of things and gather the kind of wisdom that can truly motivate people to get to better places in their lives. Couching those deep messages in such an exciting mix of blues, rock, folk and even light jazz makes it a very appealing listen for so many reasons. Edwards is currently working on a follow-up recording and there’s no doubt that anyone touched by his debut will be clamoring for more.”
