About the Artist

Darren Raye Fonzseau is an Everett, Washington singer-songwriter and workers’ rights advocate who uses country, Americana, folk, blues, gospel, spoken word, and independent media to give working people a voice. After decades of work and a life-changing workplace injury, Darren turned music into peaceful public testimony. His songs and videos call for federal minimum standards in workers’ compensation, accountable disability and medical systems, patient rights, broad immigration reform and amnesty, and dignity for families too often left off America’s political table. In 2026, Darren’s work continues through Workers Won’t Be Silent: original songs, covers, commentary, and documentary-style videos that connect music with evidence-based advocacy. His message is simple: health care, workers’ rights, immigrant justice, and human rights belong on the same table—and no worker or family should have to suffer in silence.
