Daph Veil

Daph Veil is the solo project of Austin musician Paula Laubach, created as a space to explore different sounds, styles, and genres without being tied to one lane. Rather than following a single formula, each Daph Veil release is allowed to take on its own identity, moving between alt-rock, shoegaze, electronic, blues, and other influences depending on the song. At the center of the project is creative freedom. Daph Veil reflects Paula’s interest in writing songs that feel honest, atmospheric, and emotionally driven, while leaving room for experimentation and collaboration. Whether a track leans darker, dreamier, heavier, or more electronic, the project keeps an expressive edge and a commitment to making each release feel distinct.
