Dynamic, Energetic and Passionate are just a few things that describe Danica’s stage presence. But the way she engages and connects with her audience is what really makes her in a class of her own. Danica can make a song feel and sound like it is being written at that very moment. Of course it goes without saying that her talent, experience and sassy style lend for an amazing show, but her true power is in the way she makes you feel.
Danica’s high demand and reputation is unprecedented, most of the time being booked a year or more in advance. No matter the venue, be it a casino, resort, festival, wedding or a private or corporate event, Danica and her band’s professionalism and commitment to entertaining is sure to leave the crowd feeling on top of the world. Together with her band, Danica has spent the last 10 years touring all over the United States. Her great success and large record sales can be attributed to endless hours of hard work, dedication and a strong belief that what she does makes a difference in the world. Whether she is singing one of her original songs or someone else’s, it is clear that Danica’s interpretation and delivery of the music touches people in a very special way.
The Story
Growing up in Salt Lake City her love for music goes back as long as she can remember, leading her to study music and theatre and perform off-Broadway in New York. It later took her to Los Angeles allowing her the experience and great opportunity to work with some of the great artists like Lionel Cole, Ivan Neville and Martika - just to name a few. In 2003 Danica finally found herself writing and recording her debut album “This Time,” a moment she recalls as life changing. But more importantly her love of music and the experience that has come with it has taught her to be the proud, and yet at the same time humble woman she is today.
Recently while doing an interview for a news column Danica was asked to reflect on her time spent in the music business, Danica quickly responded, “Oh my Gosh, I must be the luckiest girl alive, I get to live my dream, I have all these wonderful people supporting me and I have some of the best fans a musician could ever ask for.” She went on to say, “My fans have taught me so much about life and music, my only hope is that I can give them as much as they have given me.
